Welcome to Carolina Speech and Neuro Rehab, PLLC. We provide speech therapy services to adult clients in our Asheville, NC office. Our office is located at 802 Fairview Dr, Suite 4000, Asheville, NC with teletherapy options available to the greater WNC and NC areas. Medicare and most major insurances are accepted.

Carolina Speech and Neuro Rehab provides evaluations and treatment for Speech, Language, Voice, Swallowing, and Cognitive Disorders including Memory and Executive Dysfunction. Learn more about our services below.

Please note that all dysphagia evaluations must be in-person and not teletherapy due to the complex nature, safety, and potential severity of swallowing impairments. Future treatments can be provided by teletherapy if determined to be appropriate.

Consultations

Free 15 min phone consultation available to new clients to determine if speech therapy services are warranted.

Evaluations

Evaluations can be scheduled within 1 week of the initial consultation using different assessment tools to determine presence and severity of cognitive, swallowing, and/or speech and language deficits.

Treatment

We provide individualized treatment based on the client’s needs and goals, client and family education and training, Home Exercise Plans or Strategies for carryover at home, ongoing feedback, and regular progress reports.

Meet Mariah

Mariah Tilley, M.S. CCC-SLP

Owner | Licensed Speech Therapist

Mariah Tilley is an ASHA-Certified speech-language pathologist with over 14 yrs experience working with adults to improve speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive abilities.

She received her Bachelor Degree from Appalachian State University in Psychology and Master’s degree in Communication Science and Disorders from Western Carolina University.

Mariah is specialized in E-Stim (Vital Stim) for Dysphagia Therapy and Myofacial Release Certified. E-Stim is an innovative, non-traditional therapy that uses a small current, passing through external electrodes on the neck, to stimulate inactive swallowing muscles.
